Miigwech for taking the time to complete this communications program survey. Through the collection of this data, Mamaweswen can explore the various means by which we may better support our family agencies’ communications goals and ultimately increase ease of access to the services our community members utilize. Through your expertise as communications professionals we can determine best practices that may benefit all who choose to adopt them.

The second phase of this information gathering initiative will be to engage the community’s communications officers and other staff members directly with a similar line of questions.

There are no right or wrong answers and this information will never be used to make qualitative determinations about your organizations communications program efficacy.

This is to be collaborative endeavour and we will share all data we collect with all parties involved, unless directed to keep the collected data private.

Website Updates - Do you feel confident that you can manage the content on your website effectively ie. create new content pages, update event calendars, implement video assets etc.? *

Website Analytics - Do you have access to your website analytics and if so what is your average monthly total page view count (over the last 6 - 12 months, if possible)?

Email Lists - Do you currently maintain a list of email contacts for clients or website visitors and if so, do you regularly activate the list to provide regular programming and events updates and information? If so, how frequently? *

Social Media Channel Analytics - Do you have access to your social media channel analytics and if so what is your average monthly post reach (over the last 6 - 12 months, if possible)? *

Social Media Post Schedule - Do you maintain a schedule of pre-scheduled posts or a social media post calendar? *

Social Post Frequency - How many social media posts does your organization create on a weekly basis, generally speaking? *

Inter-organizational Post Sharing and Promotion - Are you willing to like and share posts from the related Mamaweswen agencies ie. Mamaweswen, Niigaaniin, Maamwesying, Benbowopka, Koognaaswin? *

Social Channel Re-Post Authorization - Can Mamaweswen post to the Mamaweswen website, re-share, or otherwise promote the events and/or activities that are posted on your social media channels without seeking any additional permissions from your communications personnel? *

Mail Outs - Do you currently make use of community paper based mail outs or other print based surveys? If so, how are you distributing these materials and how do you collect them once completed? *

Shared Event Calendar - Would you be able/willing to update your public events/programming dates on an Outlook calendar shared amongst the other agencies? *
